You may notice steep 'drops' in ELA and/or Math test scores for certain cohorts in certain years (for example, Cohort 2009 between the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 year for Albany City). This does not reflect a drastic change in student performance, but rather an alteration in the test(s) during those time periods. We have received inquiries about these kinds of stepwise changes and wished to broadly clarify for all users of the tool.
